What is the MRCP(UK) Examination
The three Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom share a common membership examination in general medicine: this is the examination for the Diploma of Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom. Successful candidates are eligible to apply for the award of the MRCP(UK) Diploma.

What is the Specialty Certificate Examination
The Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK, in association with the Specialist Societies, has developed a programme to deliver Specialty Certificate Examinations within the specialist training structure. The aim of these assessments, which complement workplace-based assessments, is to ensure that trainees have sufficient knowledge of their specialty to practice safely and competently as consultants.
