MRCP(UK) has updated the amended regulations for candidates sitting online examinations.
This is in response to feedback received from candidates and will improve the experience for those who are taking the online examinations with our delivery partners:
- Candidates who require to take a break from the examination (e.g. to use the toilet), do not need to wait for permission from the invigilator to leave the examination environment. Please indicate to the invigilator using the text system that you are taking a break and a note will be made.
- Candidates are permitted to have snacks at their desk during the examination.
The other regulations introduced for the delivery of the online examinations remain in place.

Please note that this does not cover Specialty Certificate Examinations that are delivered in Pearson Vue Centres; these have their own regulations.
