Due to the developing COVID-19 situation in the locality, we regret to advise that the following PACES examinations have had to be cancelled:
- Edinburgh CSAC, Western General Hospital on 17, 18 & 19 November
- Tunbridge Wells Hospital on 21 & 22 November
- QEQM, Margate on 21 & 22 November
All candidates affected by this cancellation have been informed by their respective colleges and have been prioritised for a place at the next available diet in 2021. Dates will be published here once confirmed.
This was an extremely difficult decision to make but the safety of patients, surrogates, administrators, candidates and examiners is of paramount importance as we deliver examinations during these unprecedented times.
We will do everything within our control to deliver future examinations as planned. We understand that this will be concerning to candidates who need to pass PACES for training progression and we wish to reassure them that no one will be prevented from progressing through critical career points because they have been unable to obtain a PACES place.
