Specialty Certificate Examinations – Update on identification requirements for Sudanese and Syrian nationals

9 Nov 2016

MRCP(UK) has been informed by Pearson VUE that their licence to test Sudanese nationals in test centres outside Sudan has been changed. From 7 November 2016, candidates who present with primary or secondary identification from Sudan will be able to apply to sit future examinations, they will not require a secondary form of identification which has been issued by another country.

The position for candidates from the Syrian Arab Republic remains unchanged. Pearson VUE cannot accept identification which has been issued by the Syrian Arab Republic unless the candidate can present a secondary form of identification which has been issued by another country. For details of primary and secondary identification please see here. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes. If you need any clarification please contact us.
