This was the first time that our written examination has been conducted simultaneously in physical examination centres across the world and online for some candidates sitting in the UK, and overall it went well under very difficult and unprecedented circumstances.
We are aware of a technical issue in the second paper which affected the display of certain questions for some candidates. We would like to reassure candidates that this will be taken into account during results processing. No candidate will be adversely disadvantaged by this issue, and we will be in touch with affected candidates soon to let them know how this will be handled. The COVID-19 pandemic has posed significant challenges to delivering examinations across the world and we would like to express our thanks to everyone involved in making the restart of our written examinations possible. We would also especially like to show our appreciation to the thousands of candidates who sat the examination, both in centres in the UK and internationally, and online.
