We will be contacting those candidates who experienced issues on 15 September that prevented them from completing that examination. They will not have to reapply.
This examination will be run in physical centres in the UK, with appropriate physical distancing and infection control measures in place, as well as online.
The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to be very uncertain and, as before, not all regions in the UK will necessarily be affected by the pandemic in the same way. Our guidance, regulations and indeed the running of the Part 1 examination, may need to adapt and change to suit the prevailing circumstances, including at short notice.
We would also advise candidates to monitor the website and emails they receive from us closely for any updates and changes to the delivery of the exam in their selected centres.
