Professor Tahir is a Consultant Physician & Rheumatologist at Royal Free London NHS Trust and an Honorary Clinical Professor at UCL.
He has been extensively involved in the training of junior doctors including being TPD for CMT's. He is an experienced PACES examiner for nearly 15 years, examining and chairing both in the UK and Internationally. He hosted TRIPLE CYCLES for several years. He successfully hosted the PILOT PACES 2020 exam in London for the Federation. He has been supporting the delivery and future development of the MRCP(UK) PACES examination.
He is a member of the Scenario Editorial Committee (SEC) and has represented London College on the Clinical Exam Board (CEB). He is passionate about the work of the RCP and is committed and dedicated to ensuring the future direction of the MRCP (UK) Diploma is one which remains one of the most prestigious and respectable exams globally.
