Rheumatology Specialty Certificate Examination 2018 - changes to the examination blueprint

Candidates applying for the 2018 diet of the Rheumatology Specialty Certificate Examination (scheduled to take place on 27 June) should be aware that a minor amendment has been made to the examination blueprint. The blueprint indicates the likely number of questions on each topic that will be found in the examination. It can be found here: http:// www.mrcpuk.org/sites/default/files/documents/New%20Rheumatology%20SCE%20blueprint.pdf

The number of paediatric rheumatology questions has been reduced to 12, while the number of metabolic bone disease questions has been increased to 13.

Candidates are reminded to regularly check the MRCP(UK) website ahead of their examination.

Good move. However there should be more guidance regarding the preparation of the exam,as candidates outside UK have different training.
