Acute Medicine Specialty Certificate Examination 2018

Candidates applying for the Acute Medicine Specialty Certificate Examination taking place on 14 November 2018 should be aware that a minor amendment has been made to the blueprint for the examination. This document outlines the likely number of questions on a range of important topics from the UK Specialty Training Curriculum.

A new topic has been created, ‘Critical Care Medicine’, which will cover core topics for Acute Medicine Trainees: Cardiorespiratory Arrest and Shock. There is also a new topic included in the ‘Other’ heading, on Public health and health promotion.

The updated blueprint can be found here.
