Candidates applying for the 2018 diet of the Endocrinology & Diabetes Specialty Certificate Examination, scheduled to take place on 6 June, should be aware that a minor amendment has been made to the examination blueprint. The blueprint indicates the likely number of questions on each topic that will be found in the examination. It can be found here:

MRCP(UK) has just released an addendum to the Reasonable Adjustment Procedure.  This amendment widens the range of acceptable evidence for candidates requesting an examination adjustment as a result of a specific learning difficulty.

The Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK is seeking to appoint three new members of the MRCP(UK) Scenario Editorial Committee (SEC).

We are particularly looking to appoint consultants in any of the following specialties: Acute Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Elderly Medicine, Gastroenterology, Haematology, Hepatology, Infectious Diseases, Oncology, Palliative Care and  Rheumatology, although applications from other specialties will be considered.

Our IT department have fixed the technical issues affecting the server we use for sending candidate information to Pearson VUE.

All candidate information will be sent to Pearson VUE within 1 working day following completion of the application. Please note that  if you apply over the weekend, your file will be sent to Pearson VUE the following Monday.

We are pleased to inform all potential ESEGH candidates that the resource page relating to sample questions has been revised.  There are now 100 sample questions, spread across the curriculum, which will provide candidates with a good indication of the type of questions to expect in the examination.
