As a consequence of the ongoing global COVID-19 situation, the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK has taken the extremely difficult but necessary decision to cancel all MRCP(UK) examinations in the UK and internationally from Monday 16 March until September 2020.

Due to an IT systems issue, candidates may be temporarily unable to view their exam results in their MRCP(UK) online accounts.  We are currently working to correct this and will update this page once systems have been restored.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing candidates.

We are sorry to advise that the 2020/01 MRCP(UK) PACES exams in Kuwait, 16 – 19 March 2020, has been cancelled at the request of our partners in Kuwait. This is due to growing concerns expressed by our partners in Kuwait, shared by MRCP(UK), about the continuing outbreak of Covid-19.

The Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom is delighted to confirm that it will open its first MRCP(UK) PACES examination centre in Pakistan later in 2020.  This decision follows the successful running of a full mock PACES at the PAK-Emirates Military Hospital in Rawalpindi on 7 & 8 February 2020. PACES is the largest international clinical examination for postgraduate doctors in the world and will provide doctors from Pakistan the opportunity to take this high-quality examination in their own country for the first time.

All Fast Track places have now been filled and there are no more available spaces for the 2020/1 exam. 

There will be limited Fast Track spaces in the 2020/2 exam, more information to follow soon.

Following a techincal issue, which has now been resolved, candidates wishing to apply for the PACES 2020/1 in Cario, Egypt may now log on to MyMRCP(UK) and do so.

Candidates who have already submitted an application, who wish to select Cairo, please email us at overseas.paces@rcplondon.ac.uk. We will remove this application so you can reapply. This won’t affect your chances of receiving a seat.

We are sorry to advise that the 2020/1 PACES exams in Singapore have been cancelled at the request of Singaporean authorities.

This cancellation is due to growing concerns expressed by our partners in Singapore, shared by MRCP(UK), about the continuing outbreak of Covid-19 in and around China.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but the safety and security of our candidates, patients, hosts and examiners is of paramount importance when reaching important decisions such as this.

Due to the closure of the British Council offices in Iraq, the MRCP(UK) Part 1 2020/1 examinations due to take place in Erbil and Baghdad tomorrow (Tuesday 7 January) have been cancelled.

All candidates due to sit the exam will have their fee refunded in full.
