Verification of MRCP(UK) and Specialty Certificate Examination qualifications

From September 2010, all doctors, organisations and third parties seeking verification of a MRCP(UK) or SCE qualification must follow the process below:

Individuals wishing to obtain verification of their MRCP(UK) or SCE qualification

Doctors seeking verification of their MRCP(UK) or SCE qualification should complete the Individual Verification Requests form in full:

Non-Collegiate Members: If you do not hold Collegiate Membership, you are required to submit a payment of £10.00 GBP with the Individual Verification Requests form. Payment can be submitted by banker’s draft, cheque or completion of a credit card payment form:

The request form and payment must be submitted together. If paying by cheque or bankers draft please write your full name and RCP Code number on the reverse side. Any request form submitted without payment or payment submitted without request form will not be processed.

Collegiate Members: If you currently hold Collegiate Membership through one of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow or the Royal College of Physicians of London you are not required to submit any payment for this service. Requests from Collegiate Members should be submitted by email to mrcpverification@mrcpuk.org.

Organisations and third parties wishing to obtain verification of a doctor’s MRCP(UK) or SCE qualification

Organisations and third parties seeking verification of a doctor’s or a number of doctors’ MRCP(UK) or SCE qualification/s need to complete the Third Party Verification Requests form in full together with a fee of £10.00 GBP for every doctor listed:

Request forms and payment must be submitted together. Any request form submitted without payment for the doctor concerned or payment submitted without a request form will not be processed.

Organisations and third parties must obtain signed consent from the doctor in seeking verification of their qualification. Any form submitted without signed consent from the doctor concerned will not be processed.

For all forms please ensure that all sections of the request form are completed as incomplete forms will not be processed.

Telephone requests: Requests for verification may not be made by telephone. A request form and payment (where required) must be submitted in order for any verification request to be processed.
