Withdrawal from the Examination(s)

  • Notice of withdrawal from the Examination(s) must be given in writing to the Royal College of entry (or centre outside the UK) and be accompanied by the Admission Document, if received
  • Notification in writing can include notification by email, fax or letter
  • In all cases, please quote your RCP Code Number, your full name, your date of birth and state your reason for withdrawal
  • The Examination fee (less an administration charge) will be refunded when notice of withdrawal is received before the published UK closing date
  • If written notification is received after the UK closing date, the Examination fee paid will be forfeited
  • Fees cannot be transferred to the next Examination
  • Candidates whose applications are incomplete because of non-payment of fees, and who subsequently withdraw from the exam, will still owe the fee and must resolve this in order to apply to future MRCP(UK) exams. Candidates who withdraw before the closing date will owe 10% of the exam fee. Those withdrawing after the closing date will owe the full amount.
