Equating: Changes to the way results are processed and reported
In April 2010 a process called equating was introduced for the MRCP(UK) Part 2 Written Examination, resulting in significant changes in the way we process and report candidates' results. In November 2012, the MRCP(UK) Part 2 Standard Setting Group has reviewed the equating standards and decided that they are still adequate. Therefore, no changes were applied to the equating process or the pass score of 425.
Please note that equating will not affect the examination itself, and there will be no changes to the content, format or timings of the exam as a result.
