Notes on results
Examination results are posted to candidates within 5 weeks of the date of the Examination. All candidates will be able to access their results via the website, unless they have specified that they did not want this when sending their application; notification of this will appear on the Latest News page. Formal written confirmation of results will be prepared at that time but candidates should note that results sent by post will invariably be received several days after their publication on the website. Results will be available on the website until the date of the next Examination.
Candidates who have opened an online account can also view their result in their My MRCP(UK) account. To do this log in to your account and go to Exam History on the My MRCP(UK) sub-menu. Candidates who have not yet registered on the MRCP(UK) website can do so through the create an online account page.
Results not found
If you are unable to find your result on the MRCP(UK) website please be aware that candidates with an incomplete application will neither receive their results by post, nor have access to view their result online until their application is complete. Please contact the relevant Administration Office if you believe that your application may still be incomplete.

Candidates should refer to the MRCP(UK) Regulations for details on progression through the MRCP(UK) qualification.
Equating: Changes to the way candidates’ results are processed and reported
In September 2008 a process called equating was introduced for the MRCP(UK) Part 1 Examination, resulting in significant changes in the way we process and report candidates’ results.
Please note that equating does not affect the examination itself, and there are no changes to the content, format or timings of the exam as a result.
