MRCP(UK) Part 2 Clinical Examination (PACES) Dates - 2010

Candidates are advised that application periods for all PACES examinations have been reduced to three weeks and they are advised to check the dates for application periods in the table below carefully.

Candidates are advised that applications for the PACES Examination are accepted on a first come first served basis. They are further advised to apply early within each application period for PACES Examinations in the UK and not to leave application until the last few days of the application period in order to avoid the risk of missing out on a clinical place.  All candidates applying to attempt PACES in the UK are advised to read and take note of the Colleges’ Deferment Policy in the event that the Colleges are oversubscribed.

Candidates applying to take PACES at examination centres in the UK should aim to be available on as many dates as possible within the PACES Examination period. If a candidate can provide good reasons in writing, submitted with their application form, as to why they cannot sit the Examination on a particular date or dates, their College of Entry will try to accommodate them. A place in the Examination cannot be guaranteed on this basis.

Please note that examination dates can fall on any day during the main assessment period, including weekends.
