MRCP(UK) PART 2 CLINICAL EXAMINATION (PACES)
Withdrawal from the Examination (Regulations applicable up to and including the 2008/3 diet):
- Notice of withdrawal from any part of the Examination must be given in writing to the Royal College of entry (or Centre outside the UK) and be accompanied by the Admission Document, if received
- The Examination fee (less an administration charge) will be refunded when notice of withdrawal is received before the published UK closing date
- Candidates who withdraw after the closing date and no later than three weeks before the first published date of the Examination in the country in which they will take the Examination will forfeit the fee, but not an attempt
- Candidates who withdraw at any point within three weeks of the first published date of the Examination in the country in which they will be take the Examination will forfeit their fee and one of their attempts
- Fees cannot be transferred to the next Examination
- Withdrawal or absence on the day of the Examination from the MRCP(UK) Part 2 Clinical Examination (PACES) will be counted as an attempt
Revisions to the above applicable from the 2009/1 diet:
- Candidates who withdraw after the closing date of the Examination in the country in which they will take the Examination will only forfeit their fee as the revised Regulations permit unlimited attempts at the MRCP(UK) Part 2 Clinical Examination (PACES) within a candidate's 7 year eligibility period
