The Royal College of Physicians is located within a few minutes walk of the main train and bus stations, hotels and main shopping areas. It is within easy reach by road. Parking is available on street (metered) or at the NCP multi-storey car park, 7 minutes walk from the college. This is accessed from York Place. If you drive east along Queen Street, this road changes into York Place. The car park is signed off to the right. Edinburgh airport is approximately 7 miles from the city centre.

Disabled access is available at the rear of the building by prior arrangement.

By Air:

Glasgow International Airport is a 15 minute drive by motorway from the City Centre. There is a regular bus service between the City and the Airport.

By Rail:

Glasgow has excellent rail links with the rest of the UK. Queen Street Station and Central Station are both located in the City Centre.

By Road:

Approaching from Edinburgh M8 or the South A74/M74/M73
Take Glasgow inner ring road M8 signposted City Centre. Take Exit 18 signposted Charing Cross (Note: this exit is at the same location as Exit 17; this exit comes off the outside lane, so make sure you move out well in advance.
At end of motorway slip road turn left into Sauchiehall Street. Take right-hand lane and continue along Sauchiehall Street for half a mile past four streets on the right. Turn right at traffic lights (pedestrian precinct straight ahead; Bank of Scotland on right) into Blythswood Street. Drive through Blythswood Square and down Blythswood Street until you reach St Vincent Street and turn right. The College is immediately on your right.

Approaching from the West and Glasgow Airport M8
Take Glasgow inner ring road M8 signposted City Centre. Take Exit 19 signposted City Centre. At end of motorway slip road turn left at traffic lights into Pitt Street. Turn right into West George Street. Turn right at Pedestrian lights into Blythswood Street and next right into St Vincent Street. The College is immediately on your right.

The College is a convenient and attractive location in the centre of London, easily reached by all methods of transport as well as from major airports.

The main entrance and reception are facing Regent's Park; off Outer Circle, 11 St. Andrews Place, Regent's Park, London NW1 4LE

By Tube:

Regent's Park (Bakerloo line), Great Portland Street (Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City lines) and Warren Street (Victoria and Northern lines) underground stations are only a few minutes walk away.

By Rail:

Euston, King's Cross, St Pancras and Marylebone stations are close by. Other mainline stations are only a few tube stops away.

By Road:

There is easy access from the M40 and M1 motorways. The nearest public car park to the College is The Bucklebury Garage, Laxton Place (off Longford Street), London NW1. The garage is open from Monday to Friday and the hours are 07:00hrs until 20:00hrs.
