The PACES Standard Setting group will meet on 28 May to determine the final skill and overall pass marks for the examination. These will apply to candidates sitting in the 2024.02 and subsequent diets.
Information about the pass standards will be publicised as soon as is possible after the meeting.
This process means that it is no longer necessary to withhold the majority of candidate results until the end of the diet and will enable MRCP(UK) to revert to the previous timescales for releasing results:
1. UK centres: within 3 weeks of the centre’s last running examination date
2. International centres: within 6 weeks of the centre’s last running examination date
Results will be available in candidates’ MyMRCP accounts once they have been released.
